Teen Traveling Troupe

Join the first-ever cast of our Teen Traveling Troupe!

Our Teen Traveling Troupe is an audition-based ensemble of dedicated teens (13+) who are looking to bring theater into the local community. This summer, our teens will hit the road with Frog and Toad KIDS! After a quick week-long intensive rehearsal process, we look forward to taking this storybook title to day camps, senior centers, and libraries, to celebrate theater for young audiences.

AUDITION DEADLINE

Video submissions will be accepted Tuesday, April 9 through Saturday, June 15.

*Please note that a $150 deposit is due prior to submitting a video audition. If cast, this deposit will be put towards the tuition. If your child is not cast, the deposit is refunded.

AUDITION STEPS

Prepare a video of you singing 32 bars of a musical theater song of your choice.
Click the registration link above to pay the Audition Deposit (refundable if you are not cast in the program).
Click the link in your confirmation email to complete the Audition form which will have instructions for you to submit your video.

CALLBACK DETAILS

Callbacks will be scheduled one-on-one, if necessary. Callback materials will be provided.

Other performance venues/times are TBD. We hope to book 1-3 performances at local day camps, senior centers, and libraries between 8/12-8/18.

PROGRAM INFORMATION

ELIGIBILITY

Open to students aged 13+.

No prior training or experience with Random Farms is required and we welcome newcomers, whether they have been performing for 10 years or 10 days. Since this is an audition-based program, not everyone will be selected, so performers should be prepared for that if they decide to try out.

FINANCIAL COMMITMENT

TUITION

If cast, there is a $450 registration fee to participate in the production. Parent/Legal Guardian is financially responsible for fee if student is cast in a role parent (or performer over age 18) says they will accept on the audition form. Cast member is also responsible for providing their own shoes, tights/socks and undergarments, as per the costume memo (emailed and/or posted online after rehearsals begin).

DEPOSIT

A deposit of $150.00 is required to audition for the program. By auditioning, the student is committing to participate. If cast, the deposit will be put towards the cost of tuition and the balance ($300) will be owed. If the student is not cast in the program, your deposit will be refunded within 24 hours of the cast list being posted.

SCHOLARSHIPS

A limited amount of need-based financial aid is available. The scholarship application must be submitted at least 1 week before auditions begin.

PARTICIPATION POLICY

Participants must attend all rehearsals. Parents are responsible for providing their child’s transportation to the show venues. If a participant misses a show or rehearsal, continuation in the program will be at Random Farms’ discretion. If cast, there is a $450 program fee and $10 processing fee. Participants who do not comply with this Participation Policy may be removed from the program and their account put On Hold, as described in Random Farms’ Standard Agreement, until parents, participant, and Random Farms can reach an agreement moving forward.
