ACTING / DANCE / VOICE CLASSES

GROUP VOICE

GRADES K-3

An introduction to voice and perfect for the beginning singer. Students will sing as both a soloist and as a group, receive a foundation in vocal technique, and basic music theory. Class will culminate in a short, in-studio presentation!

ON CAMERA ACTING

GRADES 3-5 & 6-9

In this dynamic class, students will explore the world of on-camera acting while also learning what it’s like to work behind the scenes on a film set. They’ll build confidence, sharpen their acting skills in front of the camera, and get an introduction to self-taping and audition techniques. The class culminates in the screening of material from the semester for friends and family.

CREATING CHARACTERS

GRADES K-3

Step into the shoes of astronauts, doctors, and everyday heroes in this character building acting class for Grades K-3! Through creative character play, students will explore imaginative problem-solving and the essential building blocks of storytelling and performance. Students will present original mini scenes at an in studio presentation during the final class!

MUSICAL THEATER AUDITION TECHNIQUE

GRADES 3-6

Looking to sharpen your audition skills? Look no further! In this class students will work on audition etiquette, preparing a both a monologue and 32 bar vocal cut, and their acting/storytelling skills all while building confidence to help them ace their next audition! Class will culminate in a short studio presentation of their newly assigned material.

PARTICIPATION POLICY

There is no absence policy for these classes, but we encourage students to attend as many classes as they can. They are not recital-based, but more like workshops where you get out of it what you put in! If you know your child is going to be absent from a class, please notify the director. Please note that there are no refunds/credits due to absences.

REFUND POLICY

For cancellations:

  • More than 2 weeks from class start date: full refund, less $60 drop fee
  • Within 2 weeks of class start date: 50% refund
  • Less than 1 week from class start date: no refund issued
