Financial Aid
Thanks to the generosity of our donors, Random Farms is pleased to offer need-based financial aid for most of our programs. To apply, please read the instructions below and click on the correct application link. Please keep in mind that our Financial Aid Fund is limited and we may not be able to grant scholarships to everyone who applies.
HOW TO APPLY
Applications for Financial Aid must be submitted before registering for a program or an audition.
Financial Aid Meeting – For some programs, applicants will be required to meet with a member of the Scholarship Review committee as part of the application review process to discuss the program policies. If you are a new applicant and are applying to one of these programs, our staff will contact you after you submit the application to arrange a meeting time. If you have previously received financial aid for Random Farms programs, this requirement may be waived at the discretion of the staff.

FINANCIAL AID POLICIES
Random Farms is able to offer a limited amount of financial aid each year. Financial aid packages may cover full tuition or half tuition depending on the need demonstrated by the applicant, the number of applications received, and the funding resources available.
Workshops, Jellybeans, Summer Workshops, Vacation Workshops, and Classes
If granted financial aid, our staff will provide you with a code to use when you register for the production, assuming you are cast. Financial aid codes may only be used towards tuition, and cannot be applied to processing fees or optional program costs (eg. t-shirts). When you register for the approved program, you will need to enter this code, which will reduce the tuition in the amount of the financial assistance package. To complete your registration in the program, you will need to use a credit card to pay a nominal processing fee, any balance due beyond the amount of the financial aid package, and any other program-related costs (eg. security deposit, optional show t-shirt, etc.).
IF YOU ARE GRANTED FINANCIAL AID AND THEN DROP OUT OF THE PROGRAM, YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR PAYING BACK $150 OF THE SCHOLARSHIP. Recipients of financial aid are expected to follow the same participation policy as paying participants. If the performer is not able to complete the program for any reason, then the financial aid package will be forfeited and you will be responsible for paying back $150 towards the value of the scholarship. Random Farms is a not-for-profit organization with limited funding, and this policy protects the organization from financial loss.
Edge
If granted financial aid, our staff will provide you with a code to use when you register for the production, assuming you are cast. If cast, the code will be automatically applied towards the program’s tuition, and your card will be automatically charged for the remaining balance due, which will include a nominal processing fee and any remaining tuition beyond the amount of the financial aid package.
IF YOU ARE GRANTED FINANCIAL AID AND THEN DROP OUT OF THE PROGRAM OR TURN DOWN A ROLE YOU SAID YOU WOULD ACCEPT, YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR PAYING BACK $150 OF THE SCHOLARSHIP. Random Farms takes the casting process very seriously, especially because we are often not able to cast everyone who auditions. When registering for an audition, you will indicate the cast(s) for which you/your child are available and the roles that you/your child are willing to accept. Please note that, if we are able to cast you/your child in a cast for which you said you are available, and in a role which you said you will accept, your financial aid package and credit card will be automatically processed. Random Farms is a not-for-profit organization with limited funding, and this policy protects the organization from financial loss.
IF WE ARE NOT ABLE TO FIND A ROLE FOR YOU THAT MEETS YOUR ROLE LIMITATIONS AND CAST AVAILABILITY, YOU WILL NOT BE CHARGED. If we are not able to find a role for you/your child, you are not responsible for any fees. Please be upfront and candid when completing the audition registration form so that we can make sure to only cast you/your child if we are able to accommodate your schedule and casting preferences.
PAYMENT PLANS
A limited number of payment plans are available for all Random Farm programs. Payment plans must be requested and will be awarded on a first come first serve basis. For most programs, tuition can be paid in four equal installments, with the first installment due at the time of enrollment. To request a payment plan, please click here.
