Eliana (Ellie) Barth is a NYC and Hudson Valley based music director, pianist, composer, and educator. She recently served as Associate Music Director for Rent at Random Farms Kids’ Theater. Other recent credits include music directing The Drowsy Chaperone Jr. at Nyack Middle School and serving as Music Assistant for Manhattan Concert Productions’ Broadway Junior Company at Lincoln Center.
Ellie is a passionate music educator, currently teaching 5th and 6th Grade General Music and Chorus in the Hudson Valley. She also runs a private music studio, offering lessons in piano, violin, voice, and composition. With a specialty in choral music education, she has conducted choirs of all ages.
As a collaborative pianist, Ellie specializes in musical theatre, chamber music, and opera. This summer, she worked as a coach and collaborative pianist with Varna International Music Academy, working with opera singers from around the world in Bulgaria and Italy.
Ellie is also an accomplished composer and orchestrator, with works written for strings, choirs, bands, and full orchestras. She holds dual Bachelor of Music degrees in Music Education and Music Composition from the Crane School of Music at SUNY Potsdam.
