As founding member of her high school sketch team and College improv team, Joyah began to develop a strong comedic voice at an early age. Joyah has since travelled far and wide to hone those skills under the tutelage of comedic masterminds like Anthony Atamanuik, Jill Bernard, Jason Geary and Anders Fors. Joyah went on to become a company member and coach at Reckless Theatre (NYC) , founded the internationally celebrated musical improv team, Charlie, and has taught workshops across the country. Joyah has a similarly extensive background in drama and is happiest when she can teach the entire spectrum of the human condition. In the classroom she focuses on physicality to help free the mind of an actor with workshops on Laban, Alexander technique and fitzmaurice work.
